Manipur Educational Development and Research Association (MEDRA) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to advancing education, research, skill development, and social welfare across Manipur. Established in 1993 and registered under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, MEDRA has been working consistently for over three decades to empower communities through knowledge, skills, and inclusive development.
Headquartered at Kwakeithel Thiyam Leikai, Imphal West, MEDRA operates across urban and rural areas of Manipur with a strong focus on education, vocational training, research, health awareness, women and youth empowerment, and livelihood generation.
MEDRA believes that education is the foundation of sustainable social transformation. Our programs are designed to address local needs while aligning with national development priorities, ensuring long-term impact and self-reliance among beneficiaries.
